
Amanda Louise Holden was born on the 16th February 1971. She is an English actress also known as a journalist and singer. She has served as judge on Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire. She spent the majority of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also in TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. Holden was also part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she was in the role of Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She joined the show in 2006.
