Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to explore her inner world by the food she cooks. She began to be interested in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape of Los Angeles. Carnitas and Cavatellis on the same menu is her ideology. What remains is her singular idea of the future and still wishing to reminisce about the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became popular. Lofaso's traditional Italian interpretation is considered to be one the Los Angeles' most captivating dining establishments. Customers describe Scopa as an indispensable neighborhood staple where Lofaso consistently provides food that is delicious and unquestionably satisfying. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticate techniques but she never hesitated to take extraordinary risks to be true to her own instincts. She quickly climbed the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and was able to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs located in Los Angeles while working closely with a variety of famous celebrities. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to create Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Lofaso found her place at Black Market, and through the alliances she made. The creative spirit of Lofaso will be facilitated by this collaborative effort. Black Market does not have a single direction, that's the intention. It could start with dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Next comes a Korean wings and then meatballs. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling assortment. Lofaso evaluates her achievements throughout her career by her ability to understand her audience and stay true to her personality. Her appearances on the Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be herself outside the cooking environment. In the years since she's continued to pursue her career in front of cameras as a judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso has teamed up with Penguin to release The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Fast Delicious Home Cooked Meals in 2012. This book also reveals about the struggles she faced while raising Xea and pursuing her studies at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that all of her successes stem from her love of cooking and she is able to keep a finger on the pulse of the industry through her work on the kitchen. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress by blending style with function. What is important to Lofaso is sticking to the vision you have set. With this goal, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering, which offers a more customized way of offering customers a a distinctly personal experience.
