Aunjanue Taylor is an American actor and producer who is best famous for the roles she was as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue is l. Ellis is the American producer and actress who has performed in theatre and TV and films as also, has been actively involved on both sides of the screen. She started acting on stage and then appeared in mainstream, independent and TV series. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also a number of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. Her first professional performance was as Ariel as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted by her performances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Also, she is well-known for her character on ABC's crime show High Incident.
